Terms & Conditions - India & World Tours:

BOOKING: You are required to complete and sign the booking form after scrutinizing and fully understanding the booking terms & conditions including the price and itinerary.
In cases where the participants in a journey belong to more than one family under a single form, it can be signed by the head / authorized person of each family and the same shall be construed as acceptance of a contract for and on behalf of all persons booked.
In case you book any third party products through Mayura Tourism, the charges for such bookings shall be payable by you and you will have to adhere to the terms and conditions as specified by the third party (ies).
At the time of booking, the Client shall be deemed to have examined and understood all the ingredients of the journey including the status and business of the Service Providers/Suppliers etc. and Mayura Tourism shall provide all possible assistance in this regard. No person other than the duly authorized personnel of Mayura Tourism have the authority to alter, amend or waive any stipulation, representation, Terms or Conditions set forth in this document. Any assurance which is contrary to the terms & conditions given herein, shall not bind Mayura Tourism in any way.

SCOPE OF SERVICE : Mayura Tourism is a travel organization and its services for the overseas journeys booked by you are limited to the planning and executing the same. While other Service Providers/Suppliers like airlines, hotels, shipping companies, cruise, caravan, coach and other transport services, restaurants (collectively referred to as Service Providers/Suppliers) are important ingredients of the journeys, the Service Providers/Suppliers are independent contractors of Mayura Tourism and the bookings made through them are undertaken after due care only, but since we do not exercise any control over their functioning, we are not responsible for the quality of products/ services provided by them. In the event of any delay and deficiency in the product/service provided by the Service Providers/Suppliers, Mayura Tourism is not liable for any such deficiency and the Client cannot seek compensation or claim damages from it. The programmes mentioned in the brochure/website are indicative programmes only and should not be construed as the final itinerary for the destinations mentioned therein. Mayura Tourism reserves the right to carry out changes in the programmes as deemed necessary by it.

BOOKING THE JOURNEY : Signing of the Booking Confirmation Form, Terms and Conditions form and/or payment receipt issued for initial deposit, payment made towards the cost of journey and/or acceptance of quotation given by Mayura Tourism shall be a legally binding contract between the Client and Mayura Tourism and constitutes your acceptance of the terms and conditions.

ITINERARY : Accommodation and arranged sightseeing schedules are subject to change at any time due to unforeseen circumstances or circumstances beyond Mayura Tourism’s control. Every effort will be made to operate tours as planned, but alterations may occur even after the final itinerary has been issued. Mayura Tourism also reserves the right to withdraw a tour or any part of it, to make such alterations to the itinerary or the tour inclusions as it deems necessary or desirable, and to pass on to the Client any expenditures or losses caused by delays or events beyond its control. In case of any appreciable variation in the tour price due to these circumstances, Mayura Tourism reserves the right to make adjustments to the tour costs as necessary.

•             The price quoted for the journey will be provided for the entire travel arrangements subject to availability of space at the time of booking.
•             The quote is subject to change without prior notice.
•             A non-refundable deposit of 25% of the total tour booking cost per person (or other amount as advised) will have to be deposited by you to secure a booking. Booking requests received prior to 15 days of date of travel must be accompanied by full payment.
•             The balance payment for the journey shall be paid at the time of booking confirmation.
•             The quoted price is excluding the service tax to be payable as per the applicable rate, and the same is to be paid by the Client in addition to the quoted price.
•             Other exclusions:                                                                                             Unless expressly included, any expenditure incurred by you but not limited to the following are  excluded from the travel arrangements price e.g. international/domestic airfares, arrival and/or departure taxes, fuel levies in some destinations and surcharges, passport and visa costs, overseas travel/ medical insurance, personal expenditure like alcoholic drinks, laundry, room service, extra meals and gratuities/tips etc.
•             Surcharges – the price of the travel arrangements is subject to applicability of surcharges, if any, and the same shall be payable by the Client. Surcharges may be incurred (without limitation) in connection with; fluctuation in currency exchange rates, increases in product prices, fuel levies, scheduled airfares, hotel and ground transportation charges, departures fees/taxes, entrance fees and any other increases in connection with the Travel arrangement.

•             Bank transfer to Mayura Tourism A/C with ICICI Bank Ltd. (bank charges apply).
Mayura Tourism does not guarantee that the payment method mentioned herein shall be acceptable for all situations and therefore the Client is advised to check with Mayura Tourism for the most suitable payment method before making the payments.

HANDOVER OF DOCUMENTS : Once Mayura Tourism receives the entire amount of payment in respect of the journey booked, the Client shall be delivered the final tax invoice, Tour Confirmation Voucher, detailed itinerary listing the services they shall be entitled to on the journey and briefing sheet containing important / emergency contact details for your further use.

AMENDMENTS :  After the initial booking for a particular journey and related services, if any written request is received from the Client for any amendment; such as change of destination, change of departure date, addition or deletion of services, change in number of passengers or such other change the same will be acknowledged from an authorized person of Mayura Tourism. In the event the amendments requested for involve further costs the same shall be borne by the Client. Further such requests will be entertained subject to availability and at the sole discretion of Mayura Tourism.

Mayura Tourism will accept cancellation requests in writing only. The computation of cost for the purpose of cancellation commences when the written request is received at the Mayura Tourism office on a working day within working hours.
The following charges are payable by the Client for request of cancellation received:
•             From booking date to 61 days prior to departure date: 25% of the total tour cost;
•             60–31 days prior to departure date: 50% of the total tour cost;
•             30 days prior to departure date: 100% of the total tour cost.
Cancellation charges may vary or more stringent charges may apply depending upon the destination, structure of the package or Mayura Tourism Suppliers’ policy.
NO REFUND will be payable in case the Client does not utilize any of the services (e.g., Accommodation, Meals, sightseeing, excursions etc) included in the journey and no such claim shall be entertained in any manner whatsoever.

LIABILITY : As mentioned elsewhere the services of Mayura Tourism are limited to planning and executing the journey and hence shall not be liable for any death, personal injury, sickness, accident, delay, loss, damage, default, deficiency that may be caused to a Client or any third person resulting from the Client’s or third party’s use of the products and services of the Service Providers/Suppliers. The Client shall be responsible for the safekeeping of their luggage, valuables or any other property/security carried by them on the journey and Mayura Tourism accepts no liability of any kind for any loss of luggage, valuables, travel documents, insurance policies or any such property/security of the Client or persons travelling with him, whether caused by act, omission, negligence or otherwise, while undertaking a journey, using the services or arising from any booking.

FORCE MAJEURE : Mayura Tourism cannot be held responsible for circumstances beyond its control and arising out of natural calamities, flood, fire, act of God, war or threat of war, physical unrest, riots, civil disturbances, terrorist activities (threatened or actual), delays, strikes, port or airport closure, technical problems with transport, alteration or cancellation of scheduled travel services, breakdown in facilities, accidents etc. however caused.

GOVERNING LAW: If the participants have any grievances regarding the tour, in which they have participated, should complain in writing within 07 days after the tour. No complaints will be entertained thereafter. All disputes pertaining to the tour and any claim arising there under shall be subject to the Court of competent jurisdiction at Mangalore only.
